Omid is an experience commercial property tax attorney. Prior joining Capital Property Partners, he worked at Ryan LLC, an award-winning global tax service provider and the largest commercial property tax consulting firm in North America. During his employment, he managed all aspects of property tax functions for over 1,800 properties annually and represented many of the most prominent national and global real estate companies, including, Thor Equities, Ashkenazy Group Acquisition, Torkian Group, Cammeby’s International and Goldman Sachs in connection with their complex property tax valuation, appeal and litigation services. Because of his unique expertise, he recovered millions of dollars in property tax saving opportunities from various assessing and reviewing agencies. Throughout his distinguished career, he appeared before the New York City Tax Commission and successfully negotiated property tax challenges for a wide range of properties that significantly reduced his clients’ property tax liabilities while increasing value of their holdings. This practice allowed his clients to further invest and grow their capital into more real estate activities.
After working for several years in the property tax arena and building professional relationship with some of the largest players in the industry, Omid transitioned himself into real estate and currently leads the firm’s national investment sales.
